Kolektor sETup (SETUP) and Biomasa partners are making significant progress in enhancing grid efficiency at the Slovenian pilot site. SETUP is actively developing an advanced optimization model aimed at maximizing market opportunities and improving the operational efficiency of Biomasa’s energy portfolio.
Beyond optimization, SETUP is prioritising the identification of energy assets best suited for ancillary service provision, unlocking new monetization opportunities. These initiatives are expected to boost operational efficiency, strengthen supply security, and contribute to overall grid stability.
As an independent aggregator, SETUP is driving advancements in optimizing flexibility asset portfolios and delivering ancillary services.
Over the past six months, SETUP and Biomasa representatives have worked together in a series of meetings to develop a comprehensive inventory of existing and potential energy assets at the Biomasa pilot site in Slovenia. They have jointly defined key operational, technical, and market parameters for these assets and outlined the data requirements necessary to begin model development.
