Women in science at ECOLOOP

Today, we’re excited to share a unique and thematic interview centered around Women in STEM Careers as part of our celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. At the ECOLOOP project, we are fortunate to have a team of talented women who are actively working towards closing the gender gap in science.

In this interview, some of our incredible colleagues open up about their experiences and share valuable insights on how to better support women in science. They discuss the perspectives they bring to projects like ECOLOOP, why empowering women in these fields is essential, and the challenges they still face. Additionally, they offer motivational messages to inspire the next generation of women scientists.

Making women’s presence more visible in STEM fields is crucial, especially in areas where men still dominate. Not only will this visibility support and empower women currently working in STEM, but it will also encourage young girls to consider these fields and pursue careers in science. By shining a light on female role models, we can help guide and motivate the scientists of tomorrow.
